HOW WE HELP
1. LOCATION SELECTION
First thing is determining where the wall decor should go.
Our requested decorating insight can go from none to a lot based on the customer's decisiveness:
Most times art goes on the wall at either "eye level", a determined distance above a thing, or centered vertically between two things.
We've hung 1000s of pieces of art, we can provide thoughtful recommendations based on many factors someone with less experience might not know to consider.
If the customer wants to decide heights visually, we often hold the piece near the wall and use our "tape method" for marking the lower edge of an item for reference.
Our requested decorating insight can go from none to a lot based on the customer's decisiveness:
- The customer tells us which wall and what location.
- The customer knows which wall, but doesn't know where on it.
- The customer needs recommendations for which wall.

2. HARDWARE SELECTION
Once a location has been selected, we determine the appropriate hardware to use based on weight, frame type, and wall material.
Many years ago we hung art and mirrors like everyone else because that's the way it was always done, but our methods have evolved quite a bit since then.
We now use what we call modern picture hanging hardware and techniques.
Intrigued? We'll say this: we don't use old-fashioned hooks and nails. Those are only good for supporting wires on small frames. They also can only be mounted to drywall or wood paneling.
The hardware we use to install things evolved because four factors required it:
Our hardware options are now consistent for virtually every situation we encountered.

The hardware we use to install things evolved because four factors required it:
- the huge variety of artistic wall decor people purchase
- the required accuracy and stability of gallery walls and grid layouts
- the hardness of wall materials like brick, tile, plaster, and concrete
Our hardware options are now consistent for virtually every situation we encountered.
3. INSTALLING HARDWARE
This can be the most frustrating part of any art installation. It can result in many extra holes in the wall.
Since wall decor come in so many varieties, we have several accurate and consistent methods for knowing where to put our wall hardware. Most of them use math and levels, but also include special tools for "locating" where a d-ring, sawtooth bracket, or key hole would be on the wall when the frame is in the right location.
Having the right tools and equipment is so important. We pride ourselves on being prepared. We carry several ladders, levels, drills, and much more to successfully attach our hardware into any wall material.

4. LIFTING AND PLACING
Depending on the size, weight, and location, it can often be vital to have 2 or 3 installers present to safely lift and place the wall decor onto the wall hardware without damaging the wall surface or decor.
We have ample manpower to proper lift and place large and heavy pieces.

5. CHECKING FOR LEVELNESS AND ALIGNMENT
The last step is checking levelness. If for some reason, the decor doesn't look right, we have the knowledge to troubleshoot the issue and make it right.
